Movin' Right Along...

The carpet cleaners came today. The large, nasty spot in the middle of our living room is gone. Neither of us have any idea what it was or when it appeared, but we are both thankful it disappeared! The other choice was replacing the carpet (about $1350 more) or arranging the furniture to cover it up- which would have looked quite odd in that room!
Next up, list the house with the realtor and this move will officially get underway!

Merry Christmas from Abilene

I went Christmas shopping today. The high was 28, so it helped get me in the spirit. It also helped my hands freeze to the shopping cart handle, but that's alright. Just wanted to get this blog started, so that you guys can all see the progress on our move to Japan. Once we get there, hopefully I'll be able to post pictures of our fun Japanese adventures for all to see as well.
