Phuket Night Markets

One night, while still in Phuket, Thailand, we went to the very popular (and cheap) night markets. They sell everything here- food, clothes, souvenirs...all sorts of stuff. Brett had been when he was up in Pattaya, Thailand and said we had to check them out. Never one to pass up an opportunity to shop, I of course said let's go!
They were basically large tents set up and tied together with stalls under the tents, and you just walked around and looked at all the stuff.

Some of the food we saw. There were some interesting things for sure. I was a bit disappointed that they didn't have any of the friend bugs and things that Brett saw. I didn't want to try them- just wanted cool pictures- but we still saw some interesting items.

and a few very American items too.
Chicke duck noodlesoup beer, anyone? Huh?
Lots of items on sticks
and some interesting produce too.

Fishsticks, literally.

It was a fun night, and we bought a few things. I got a new dress, and we got a pretty platter for us and also our neighbors who were watching Maverick. We got a fun Thai dice game too. It was a cool experience, but I have to say I am thankful for American food and shopping malls!
