Cooking with the Culture Club

If you can't tell from reading my blog, I love getting together with my Japanese Culture Club. We always have fun together and learn new things from them. On Feb. 18th, we went off base to a community center in Fussa where the ladies taught us how to make some delicious Japanese foods, which we then got to enjoy for lunch.
Here we are in the cooking center, prepping the food.

We made real, authentic sushi, and they showed us all the steps.

Cooking, cooking, cooking.
Mallory was quite a helper too.

She was the most popular person there, as always!
Some of the Japanese ingredients we used:
We also made gyoza. That is one of my FAVORITE foods now!

Doesn't that look delicious? I'm here to tell ya it was! And there was enough for left overs too, so I brought some home to Brett. Yum!
