SO far behind...

Man, Mallory grows up and changes every day right in front of our eyes, and I'm like 3 months behind on this blog thing (probably because I want to spend all the time with her instead of on the computer). Anyway, I have told myself over and over that I need to get caught up on here, so I can really keep people posted on our life and times NOW, not 3 months ago. So...here are (hopefully) a few posts to catch up...call me OCD, but I don't want to skip the past stuff and just jump to now. So, I'm going to try to catch up on about...20+ posts...we'll see how this goes. If I can just get to the point where I have less to post about than she is months old...
Here is Mallory on her first night in her own crib. She slept in our room in the Pack and Play until we got back from our trip to the states. But, we finally let go and put her in her room on January 28, 2010. It was harder for us than her- she slept all night- we got up at least 3 times each to check on her. She's done great ever since though, and now sleeps every night in her very own room!

Here is a picture of Maverick. He hasn't been featured on here lately. It doesn't show up well in this picture (darn dog doesn't even need Photoshop to look better than in real life) but his little face is so white now. He turned 8 years old in December!

Just a few pics of Mallory, back in February, playing and having fun, and just learning to sit up.

And passed out...

A few pictures from playgroup. A few of us wives on base get together at each other's houses on Monday's and let the kids play while we chat and talk and have breakfast together. Here's Nathan, Ariya, and Mal.
Mal and her BFF Kirsten

Back in February, it snowed here at Yokota. Here are a few pictures I took of the event. My car the night it started.
Our backyard covered in the beautiful, glistening snow
and Maverick running around having fun (and also freezing).

  1. Man, I know these pictures are from a long time ago because M is sucking on a paci. She gave those up for her left thumb at about 3 months, and hasn't looked back since. Although she will steal them out of her little friend's mouths if they have them. She puts them in her mouth, and then spits them across the room. It's pretty funny.
